The Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu Banahene , has assured the people of Berekum-Dormaa-Drobo -Sampa that all the obstacles that impeded regular power supply in the past few days will be resolved within the next 24 hours.
The Minister disclosed this on Wednesday when she led a team from the Regional Coordinating Council and executives of the New Patriotic party in the region to visit Gridco substation at Berekum to ascertain the caused of the recent power outages in the area.
Accompanying her were the Regional Director of Ghana School Feeding Programme who also doubles as the regional Second Vice Chairperson of the NPP, Madam Doris Asomah, the Municipal Chief Executive for Berekum East , Hon Kofi Adjei, Regional Treasurer Alhaji Alabey, Regional Youth Employment Cordinator also the Deputy Youth Organizer Shadrach Abrefa Mensah and the Regional communications director Asare Bediako Seth (ABS).
The Minister explained, the technical men are working tirelessly to avert the challenges which had resulted in unstable power supply within the Berekum enclave.
The Minister also visited Berekum Water Works to abreast herself with the current water supply situationn will be restored as soon as possible.
