ThinkAid Foundation, based in Berekum Municipality of the Bono Region, has donated assorted food items to the world of Friends Orphanage Home in Berekum.

The items which include rice, cooking oil, tissues, soaps, detergents, sardines amongst others were presented to the home to help boost the welfare of the children.

Speaking to GhanaNewsPlus.com , the CEO of ThinkAid Foundation, Kofi Adane, expressed that he is ever ready to offer his support to the society through his foundation.

He said, the donation to the children home is one of the charitable programs of ThinkAid Foundation and this donation will not be the last one but will continue to visit the children home and other homes.

According to him the foundation has supported some vulnerable people in the society especially the people in Berekum and will soon extend its aid to other towns apart from Berekum.

The Caretaker of World of Friends Children's Home, Madam Serwaa Akoto thanked ThinkAid Foundation for their timely intervention to support them at the time they need it most.

She therefore ,through the donation , called for more support from individuals and other benevolent organisations to come to their aid.

The mission of the ThinkAid Foundation is to support the less privileged people in the rural and deprived communities in the fields of health, education, accommodation, poverty, Job training, Imprisonment, Physical and Mental disabilities.
